Sunday, February 14th, 2021 Evening Video Update

Light snow is occurring over parts of mid-MI this evening and will continue overnight. Total snow accumulations of

1-2" are possible by Monday morning. Most of Monday will be dry.

The primary round of snow moves in from south to north after 6pm Monday. It will begin in Lansing around 8-9pm and reach Mount Pleasant closer to midnight. The heaviest snow will occur between 9pm and 6am Monday night into Tuesday morning. Winds will be gusting up around 25 MPH at times and the snow will be dry and fluffy so it will blow around easily. Localized areas of blizzard-like conditions may occur. I believe Lansing and Jackson end up in the 6-10" range with amounts of 10-12" possible towards Ann Arbor and Detroit. Less than 6" can be expected northwest of a line from Grand Rapids to Midland.
